The difference between aerospace and general Aluminum Alloy
Aerospace aluminum is a kind of ultra high strength deformation Aluminum Alloy, is widely used in aviation industry. It has good mechanical and processing properties, good plasticity after solution treatment, good heat treatment strengthening effect, generally at 150 degrees centigrade (or even higher), with high strength, good toughness, is an ideal structural material.
Compared with general aluminum alloy, the aircraft aluminum alloy has higher requirements for strength, hardness, toughness, fatigue resistance and plasticity. Due to the light weight and lightweight effect of aviation aluminum material, it has replaced the steel and occupied the leading position of the current aviation materials. Aviation equipment has higher requirements for aluminum material, and it is an important high-end application market of aluminum.
There are many kinds of aluminum alloys used on airplanes. The aircraft structure of the world with Aluminum Alloy is mainly 2 high strength (2024, 2017, 7, 2A12) and ultra high strength (7075, 7475, 7050, 7A04), there are also some 5 lines (5A06, 5052, 5086) and 6 (6061, 6082) and a few other series of aluminum.
Aerospace aluminum is mainly used in the wing skin, wing stringer, spar upper and lower edge, web, fuselage stringers, seat rails, keel beam, side frame, the lower part of the fuselage, the fuselage skin panels, flooring and other parts of the main beam.

2 、super hard aluminium: Al Zn mg Cu alloy. Commonly used in 7075 and 7A09, the strength limit and yield strength is high, the load is large, used to manufacture wing upper wing skin, beam and so on.
3, rust Aluminum Alloy: commonly used aluminum magnesium alloy 5A02, 5A06, 5B05. Has high corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, good ductility and weldability. Used to make mailboxes, tubing and so on.
4, Aluminum Alloy forging, 6A02, high hardness, good corrosion resistance. Manufacturing engine parts, fittings, etc..
5, casting Aluminum Alloy, the proportion of small, corrosion resistance, high heat resistance, engine casing manufacturing etc.
