Al-Zn-Mg alloys and AL-Mg-Si alloys significantly lower the intensity after welding, and the corrosion resistance of AL-Zn-Mg alloys is poor after welding. Therefore, these two alloys are limited in their use as welding ship materials . The AL-Mg alloy does not possess this drawback.
